North American Device Channel Manager - Troy, MI

iVantage Group is looking for a North American Device Channel Manager for a great client in Troy, MI. This position is a full time, direct hire opportunity.


Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and own Device (PCB solution, Hybrid Pigtails and data connectivity products) target customers

• Develop and drive device customer strategies in North America

• Define and implement product and technology innovation needed to secure a profitable Device growth in North America

• Lead and manage the NA Device Channel Team (Sales, product and mfg engineering and project management)

• Drive the NA pricing and quotation process to secure profitable business

• Profit and Loss responsibility for NA Device Channel including:

     o management of direct controlled cost centers

     o ownership of NA quotation process

     o drive the NA Device production cost center


Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in PCB connector (header) industry (automotive experience preferred)

• Leadership of a group larger than 20 people for more than 5 years

• International experience and strong intercultural communication skills

• Current or previous position would be: Product Management Group Leader, Business Unit Leader

• Ability to solve complex problems

• Ability to deal with and reconcile conflicting business strategies


Preferred Experience:

• Connection systems engineering experience a plus

• Marketing background a plus

• Connection system component design engineering experience (plus)


Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree – Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Education Preferred: MBA
