Citrix Server Administrator - Troy, MI


iVantage Group is currently looking to fill a Citrix Server Administrator position with a great client of ours in Troy, MI. This position is a full time, contract-to-hire opportunity.

The Citrix Server Administrator position will be responsible for day-to-day support of the Citrix Microsoft Windows servers and Citrix farms. Be able to support Citrix end users on a 3rd level support basis. Install and configure Citrix XenApp and applications. General Citrix Administration tasks (migrations, new implementations, etc) are expected with this role. Patch management on the Citrix servers will be required.

This is not an entry level IT position. Prior Citrix/Microsoft server administration experience is required.
The position will also require occasional weekend work as part of a formal change control process and occasional after hours work to respond to any issues when required. An oncall rotation is also expected from this position.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
Prior experience in administering, building, designing, and maintaining Citrix environments a must.
Knowledge or experience with the following environments are required: Citrix XenServer, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Presentation Server/Xenapp, Access Gateway/Secure Gateway/NetScaler, Citrix Provisioning Services, and Citrix EdgeSite.

Other Qualifications:
Prior experience with VMware ESX/ESXi/Server/Workstation a plus.
Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory a plus.
Prior experience with Microsoft MOM/SCOM a plus.
Prior experience with Microsoft SMS/SCCM/WSUS a plus.
Prior experience with Symantec NetBackup a plus.
Knowledge of SAN/NAS disk storage for NetApp and EMC storage systems a plus.
Prior experience in VB, PowerShell, and XML scripting a plus.
Certifications in one of the following areas are helpful:  Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA), or Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) but not required.

Portfolio Project Manager - Troy, MI

iVantage Group is currently seeking a strong Project Manager with experience in portfolio management and banking systems. This position is a full time, direct hire opportunity.


The role of Project Portfolio Manager is to manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects and a team of Project Managers with a focus on the advancement of project management and its role in helping the enterprise successfully achieve corporate objectives.  This position requires a dynamic individual who can foster improvements, successfully build partnerships, and champion engagements across organization boundaries.


Job Functions

  • Drive improvements in project management throughout the company by setting corporate-wide standards for  project management  and leveraging best industry and internal practices.
  • Communicate project status to executive team, functional managers and other key stakeholders, highlighting key contributions needed to “stay on track”.
  • Perform  project reviews to assess and improve the quality of project delivery through monitoring the health of ongoing projects and driving accountability.
  • Serve as the point of contact and escalation for the project sponsors and governance entities.
  • Leverage strong facilitation and negotiation skills to drive decisions across all levels in the organization, including portfolio discussions on trade-offs based on resource needs vs. capacity, and risk/reward scenarios.

Position Prerequisites

  • BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years program and/or portfolio management experience including Banking System implementations with vendor components and cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio financial planning and cost tracking experience with an in depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. 
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement objectives within a project delivery environment.
  • PMP Certification required.
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification is a plus
  • Significant experience managing direct reports.

PHP Developer - Detroit, MI

A PHP Developer works on a project-by-project basis with other engineers, web developers, business and marketing team members to create an intuitive experience for website visitors and clients. This includes extending and improving an object-oriented PHP framework, building solutions and maintaining existing applications in a high-energy environment.

ASP.Net Developer - Williamston, MI

iVantage Group is looking to fill several ASP.Net Developer positions with a great client of ours in Williamston, MI (east of Lansing, MI). This is a direct hire, contract-to-hire opportunity.



Primarily responsible for the development of custom website and applications relevant to business-driven initiatives. Work may be performed via defined project plan or self-directed. Existing application maintenance and customer support will be required.

Essential Functions:
- Develop efficient and maintainable code-based solutions adhering to defined corporate programming standards
- Unit test developed code for quality assurance
- Provide support for existing websites / applications
- Address customer support needs related to deployed applications

Data Warehouse Engineer - Detroit, MI

Position: Data Warehouse Engineer – Location: Detroit, MI – Type: Full time, Direct hire 


iVantage Group is looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to join our client’s Data Operations team. The Data Warehouse Engineer (DWE) is responsible for the full life cycle of back-end development of the data warehouse.  Responsibilities include the development of ETL processes, dimensional design of the table structure, cube development for performance, and database administration.  The DWE will work closely with the Business Analyst to work through business requirements and develop processes necessary to provide visibility into the data via the centralized data warehouse and reporting platform.  The DWE will also work closely with the front-end developers to ensure data that is being brought in and managed is clean, accurate, available, and complete.  The DWE will help to ensure the data warehouse processes are running optimally.

Responsibilities:
-         Design and support the database and table schemas for new and evolving sources of data being brought into the data warehouse.

-        Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues on the data warehouse servers.

Requirements:
-        B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
-         A passion for relational databases and dimensional modeling.
-         Strong SQL development skills.
-        Understanding of database de-normalization, star schema and snowflake schema.
-         2+ Years development with a relational database (SQL Server, Oracle or similar).
-         Must be a self starter who enjoys solving challenging problems.

-         Experience working with the MDX query language.
