Microsoft Administrators - Troy, MI

iVantage Group is seeking Microsoft Administrators for a great client of ours in the Troy, MI area. This position is a full time, contract opportunity.

The Microsoft Server Administrator position will be responsible for day-to-day support of Microsoft Windows servers environment.


This is not an entry level IT position. Prior Microsoft server administration experience is required.

The position will also require occasional weekend work as part of a formal change control process and occasional after hours work to respond to any issues. An oncall rotation is also expected from this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • The position will require the ability to rack and install servers as needed.
  • Prior experience in administering, building, designing, and maintaining VMWare ESX/ESXi/Server/Workstation.
  • Prior experience in administering, building, and maintaining Microsoft Windows 200x server with clustering.
  • Prior experience in administering, building, designing, and maintaining Citrix environments.
  • Prior experience in administering, building, designing, and maintaining Active Directory, LDAP and ADAM.
  • Create, design, and maintain a Disaster Recovery testing process for all needed environments.

ETL / Data Warehouse Developer - Troy, MI

iVantage Group is currently looking for an ETL / Data Warehouse Developer for a great client of ours in Troy, MI. This position is a full time, contract (6 month). 


The best candidate is one that is strong in SQL (primarily Oracle) and one that has spent time building out reports (currently reporting solution is BO).

REQUIREMENTS: 
•More than 8 years Data Warehouse experience in a technical role of large relational data warehouses. Experience with Oracle databases preferred
•Implementation experience with ETL concepts and tools (such as Data Migrator, Informatica, Data Stage, Ascential) required.
•Emphasis on SQL especially within the ORACLE space.
•Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts in relational databases.
•Strong understanding of dimensional data models.
•Strong understanding of building out reporting as part of a comprehensive BI solution.
•High standards of customer service.
•Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
•Ability to collaborate in a team environment, offering vital information where necessary.
