ETL / Data Warehouse Developer - Troy, MI

iVantage Group is currently looking for an ETL / Data Warehouse Developer for a great client of ours in Troy, MI. This position is a full time, contract (6 month). 


The best candidate is one that is strong in SQL (primarily Oracle) and one that has spent time building out reports (currently reporting solution is BO).

REQUIREMENTS: 
•More than 8 years Data Warehouse experience in a technical role of large relational data warehouses. Experience with Oracle databases preferred
•Implementation experience with ETL concepts and tools (such as Data Migrator, Informatica, Data Stage, Ascential) required.
•Emphasis on SQL especially within the ORACLE space.
•Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts in relational databases.
•Strong understanding of dimensional data models.
•Strong understanding of building out reporting as part of a comprehensive BI solution.
•High standards of customer service.
•Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
•Ability to collaborate in a team environment, offering vital information where necessary.
•Ability to work closely with system/solution architects and other team members.
•Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and business leaders, working well with Developers, Managers, and DBAs.
•Experience in data integration/warehousing is highly preferred.
•Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products especially Word, Excel, and Access. 
•Requirements analysis, data assessment, business process reengineering, and familiarity with data warehousing design concepts such as 3rd Normal Form and Dimensional models.
•Good understanding of data warehousing project life cycle, especially tasks within the ETL phase.

PeopleSoft Developer - Ann Arbor, MI

iVantage Group is seeking a talented, PeopleSoft Developer for a great client in Ann Arbor, MI. This position is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

Plan, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. Exercise judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining development plan. Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve system issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments and support end users in efficiently and effectively fulfilling business objectives

Major Responsibilities:

•Develop and support PeopleSoft applications, and collaborate with other developers and architects on solution architecture, scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.
•Assist in production support resolution as required.
•Assist in project deliverables as required.
•Define and conduct system tests and system validation.
•Work with business analysts to understand and document program development requirements.
•Develop and maintain project documentation and deliverables as required.
•Develop technical documentation for all deliverables.

Required Skills:

•5 - 7 years of PeopleSoft developmental experience with:

SQL Programmer - Auburn Hills, MI

iVantage Group is currently seeking a talented SQL Programmer for a tremendous opportunity with a great client in Auburn Hills, MI. This position is a contract opportunity.


The SQL Programmer provides analyzes the programming needs of the end user, providing technical support for all Teams and Departments, such as coding, designing, implementing, and debugging programs.
Essential Functions
Under direction perform the following:
• Ensure the timely creation and distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and data files.
• Ensure the deliverables are properly distributed to the organization and external parties, where appropriate.
• Analyze the needs, design, program, test, and implement management reports within the Authority
• Thoroughly document and properly inventory any completed work.
• Maintain the overall IS department inventory of management reports produced within the department.
• Assist various staff in identifying and correcting data integrity issues.
• Ensure continued compliance with all security and privacy requirements of our client and State and Federal regulations.
• Work as a team member in the development of new software systems for gathering and reporting data for our client.
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Individual must possess a Bachelors degree in an Information Systems related field from an accredited college or university
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
Experience:
Minimum of two years experience in a related computer systems field in the healthcare industry.
Knowledge Requirements:
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the databases systems that supply data to the management reporting needs of the Authority
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the report and system
