iVantage Group is looking for talented individuals to fill 3 PL/SQL Developer positions with a well distinguished client in Troy, MI. This position is full-time, direct hire.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design top-level architecture of a Data Warehouse in support of business intelligence projects
- Serve as the visionary for the Logical and Physical Data Models for all Data Warehouse applications (Embarcadero experience preferred)
- Possesses a broad understanding of multiple technologies, including DBMS, ETL, Reporting, OLAP, performance tuning for high-end hardware and storage
- Maintain overall responsibility for global data definitions used in the Data Warehouse
- Integrate data from multiple source systems into Data Warehouse
- Document, maintain and enforce data standards for the Data Warehouse, including security, archiving, backup and recovery
- Manage architectural decisions for data transitions from source to staging to EDW to the Reporting data layer
- Serve as a subject-matter expert (SME) for data architecture
- Provide strategic vision for enterprise Data Warehouse solutions
- Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and supervisor
- Point out system or process problems when noticed and engage the team in problem solving
- Plan and participate in cross-training with staff
- Mentor other developers
- Fill in for other developers as requested
- Recognize accomplishments and contributions of team members
- Promote an image of a high quality organization through expertise and responsiveness
- Takes responsibility for assignment completion and follow-through
- Provide high level of customer service
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
- Facilitate satisfactory communication and resolution of problems
Specific Job Skills:
Educational, Experience and/or Licensing Requirements:
- 8+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of Data Warehouse experience
- 5+ years experience working as the lead analyst in the design of an enterprise data warehouse detailed design specification using fact tables and a star schema dimensional model
- 5+ years of experience with extraction, transformation and loading tools and the development of strategies for the loading of data into the production enterprise data warehouse
- 5+ years of experience deploying business intelligence front-end tools to provide non-technical users with access to information from underlying data warehouse structures
- 4+ years of experience serving as a technical team leader actively supervising and mentoring a data warehouse development team
- 4+ years of experience providing the database administration necessary to build and support a production enterprise data warehouse
- 3+ years of Data Warehouse Architect experience
- 3+ years of production experience in an Oracle enterprise data warehouse.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executives, directors, managers, clients and customers
- Must have superior dimensional modeling skills at the conceptual, logical and physical levels, and experience documenting data models
- Oracle Business Intelligence exposure a plus
- Ability to work in a rapid-development environment.

Educational, Experience and/or Licensing Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or relevant work experience
