SQL Programmer - Auburn Hills, MI

iVantage Group is currently seeking a talented SQL Programmer for a tremendous opportunity with a great client in Auburn Hills, MI. This position is a contract opportunity.


The SQL Programmer provides analyzes the programming needs of the end user, providing technical support for all Teams and Departments, such as coding, designing, implementing, and debugging programs.
Essential Functions
Under direction perform the following:
• Ensure the timely creation and distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and data files.
• Ensure the deliverables are properly distributed to the organization and external parties, where appropriate.
• Analyze the needs, design, program, test, and implement management reports within the Authority
• Thoroughly document and properly inventory any completed work.
• Maintain the overall IS department inventory of management reports produced within the department.
• Assist various staff in identifying and correcting data integrity issues.
• Ensure continued compliance with all security and privacy requirements of our client and State and Federal regulations.
• Work as a team member in the development of new software systems for gathering and reporting data for our client.
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
Individual must possess a Bachelors degree in an Information Systems related field from an accredited college or university
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
Experience:
Minimum of two years experience in a related computer systems field in the healthcare industry.
Knowledge Requirements:
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the databases systems that supply data to the management reporting needs of the Authority
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the report and system

Other Information
Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, and so on):
• Must have available means of transportation to and from Authority and for required offsite meetings or site visits.
• Work performed primarily in an office environment.
