iVantage Group is looking to fill several ASP.Net Developer positions with a great client of ours in Williamston, MI (east of Lansing, MI). This is a direct hire, contract-to-hire opportunity.
Primarily responsible for the development of custom website and applications relevant to business-driven initiatives. Work may be performed via defined project plan or self-directed. Existing application maintenance and customer support will be required.
Essential Functions:
- Develop efficient and maintainable code-based solutions adhering to defined corporate programming standards
- Unit test developed code for quality assurance
- Provide support for existing websites / applications
- Address customer support needs related to deployed applications
Supplemental Functions:
- Participate in the discussion and analysis of business issues to propose technical / non-technical solutions
- Contribute in team meeting and code review sessions
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience developing ASP.Net applications. (C# 4.0/3.0 preferred)
- MVC 3.0 and Entity Framework 4.0 experience is a plus.
- 3 years’ experience working with SQL 2008/R2 database and stored procedures
- Ability to work within Agile methodology life-cycle
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Strong communication / team skills
- Self- motivated and ready to take ownership of development tasks / initiatives.
